Center for Zakat Management (CZM) has implemented the 4th phase of its Relief Operation for the Rohingyas staying at Cox’s Bazar. Recently, with the financing support of BAZNAS-Indonesian National Zakat Organization, two ambulances have been handed over to local govt. health authority and installed 200 street solar lights throughout the Rohingya camps.


In addition, 5000 umbrellas, 15000 packets of UHT milk and 200 MTs fire woods have been distributed. CZM runs three medical centers for providing treatment to Rohingya refugees. So far more than 200,000 patients has got healthcare services with full course of medicine since September 2017. In order to provide safe water and ensure sanitation, CZM installed 200 tube-wells with platforms, 150 bathrooms and 150 hygiene toilets in the camp areas of Thaing Khali Tajnimarkhola, Balukhali 2/2, Gundhum 2 of Ukhia under Cox’s Bazar district.

Center for Zakat Management (CZM) has handed over the award letters to as many as 1600 underprivileged meritorious undergraduate students of the public universities and medical colleges for the year 2018 in a ceremony organized at a local auditorium, Dhaka on Saturday 24 November 2018. Eminent economist and former Adviser to Caretaker Government Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman attended the program as chief guest.

These students will avail a monthly stipend of BDT 3000 per month for 2 years. They will also be benefitted by attending capacity building courses for becoming competent and better citizens of the country. CZM has been providing the Scholarship since 2010 with Zakat fund paid by various corporate organizations and individuals.
